Well I had a whole post ready to publish but I hit delte....DAMN
Wanted to post daily reports of training camp last week but didn't have internet.
Camp was A LOT of dun in the desert of Tucson, AZ. This havs been my abdopted home and training grounds for a few years so it was nice to have my team come here and see why I think its so great. We did a lot of riding and just hanging out getting to know one another. One day we were lucky enough to learn from the man himself, Gord Fraser. He came and talked to us for a couple of hours and then took us out on the road to test our skills. He still has the skills to pay the bills. It was great to learn from one of the greats in the sport.
One afternoon we al went paint balling to really get to know oneanother. What better way to see how your teammates perform under pressure. It was a lot of fun shotting each other and trying to tatcially out smart the other team...just like cycling.
Now everyone has gone home and Conor and I are still in Tucson for the Tucson Bicycle Stage race this weekend! Looking forward to see how the road racing legs will fair.
Thanks for reading,
